About Us:

Brat Climpson’s Arch is a dynamic and passionate neighbourhood restaurant serving seasonal wood-fired dishes in a unique courtyard space beneath the arches of London Fields. We place great importance on our relationships with suppliers and ensure staff are well informed about the produce we use. Located in the space where Chef Tomos Parry’s independent cooking style first took shape, the restaurant reflects that same energy. Our menu and wine list change daily. Brat x Climpson’s Arch is a friendly, enthusiastic restaurant that offers the chance to work with some of the best produce in the UK while building strong culinary knowledge and skill.

Brat at Climpson’s Arch is looking for a driven, commercially minded Sales & Events Manager to lead proactive sales and revenue growth for our events and private dining business.

This is not an inbox-management role. This is a sales role.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, picking up the phone, getting out into the market, and actively bringing new business through the door. If you’re motivated by targets, love converting leads, and enjoy the buzz of closing deals we want to hear from you.

Sales and Events Manager role:

You will be responsible for driving event revenue at Brat at Climpson’s Arch by:
Proactively generating new event and private hire business
Building relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and local businesses
Identifying and developing new revenue streams
Following up leads quickly and confidently to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
Hosting site visits and showcasing the space with energy and enthusiasm
Negotiating contracts and closing sales to maximise profitability
Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of events
Representing the restaurant and Super 8 group at networking events and industry opportunities

Sales and Events Manager requiements

A natural salesperson with proven experience in hospitality, events, or venue sales
Self-motivated and target-driven
Confident picking up the phone and generating new leads
Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
Excellent communicator with the ability to build long-term client relationships
Organised and detail-oriented, but motivated primarily by growth and results
Passionate about restaurants, food, and creating memorable guest experiences

What the role is not:

It’s not reactive-only.
It’s not just responding to inbound enquiries.
It’s not purely administrative.

This is for someone who enjoys the chase, takes ownership of their pipeline, and is hungry to grow the events side of an already well-regarded restaurant.

What’s in it for you:

28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
Access to courses, resources, and training to enhance your career.
50% discount at all our restaurants, along with complimentary staff meals during your shifts.
Discounted dining at various local establishments near Super 8 Restaurants.
Enhanced maternity leave, pension scheme, subsidised mental health support, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
Refer a Friend scheme—recommend someone to join Super 8 and receive a bonus!
Opportunities for both international and national travel to visit our suppliers and learn about sourcing ingredients and beverages.
£300 contribution towards the purchase of a work laptop for all salaried staff members.
